Welcome to a site for Santa Barbara city election fairness — a watchpost on illegally-placed political signs. The SB city ordinance is clear: "No signs are allowed to be on public sidewalks and parkways, attached to any utility pole, traffic sign, signal, historical marker or traffic control device."(Chapter 22.70.030.D.1) This site aims to encourage voluntary compliance.

I saw that sign on Chino Street, too. It has been there and not, off and on, during the past few weeks.
Funny, as the lawn near the front door of that house also has a Blum sign off and on. Notwithstanding the illegal placement of the Falcone sign, seems like that household likes both Iya and Marty. So much for the theories for how those two candidates allegedly do not like each other, per the postings at blogabarbara and in newspapers. (blogabarbara.blogspot.com/)
